My family is going to Sun City Center (near Tampa, FL) to visit my grandparents from tomorrow until Saturday or Sunday. I am going to bring my computer with me and try to get some work done on grad school applications and diary entries. There are several pictures I plan to scan and post before I leave for Gainesville on January 6. We'll see how much of this actually gets done. My UCLA application needs to be sent in by January 5 so that doesn't give me much time to finish it.

I'm finally back in Tallahassee. Now that I am finished my fourth trek across the country I have to get ready to move to Gainesville in two weeks. Not to mention applying to graduate school at the same time. One day things will be calm again, right?

Only four more days until I leave for home. I can't believe it's been seven months since I left Florida. The time went by so quickly and I enjoyed every moment. Anyway, I just wanted to say that there probably won't be any more posts of any kind for a while. I am going to be scrambling to get ready to leave on Sunday and then my dad and I have a six-day drive home. I'll do my best to work on my belated diary entries en route but I won't make any promises. At this point I am just trying to keep my emotions from getting the best of me.

After my mom couldn't find the new Catalina and Disneyland pictures on the Yahoo! Photos site I realized that I had made them private folders. That has changed now and the pictures should be available for everyone to view. They have not been renamed due to lack of time but I'll get around to it eventually. All of the pictures should also be available (and renamed) at PictureTrail.

I'm working on posting my pictures from Catalina Island (11.25.01) and Disneyland (this weekend) but it is an enormous job and I can't finish tonight. Be on the lookout for them on my photos pages (listed to the left) sometime soon.

The price of gasoline has gone down $1.10 since May. When I was first in Los Angeles this summer I was paying $2.09 per gallon and today I filled up my tank for $0.99 per gallon. That is crazy. Speaking of crazy, the Santa Ana winds are blowing today which means that it is windy and hot!

Wow, I spent a lot of money today! I went to the Orange County Marketplace this morning in search of Christmas presents but I got more stuff for myself than for anyone else. In other news I am working on a diary entry on my trip to Las Vegas with Dan so that should be available soon. Also I have posted the Las Vegas trip pictures on Lauren's Yahoo! Photos Page.

Just got back from a late showing of "Spy Game." Good movie. Anyway, the "to do" list for the weekend is extensive (that doesn't mean fun) but I promise that diary writing is one of the items. And online photo archiving if anyone is interested.
